The future is looking groovy
Thanks to the German automaker, Volkswagen’s recent announcement that they will be bringing back an all-new model of the deeply cherished VW Bus … only this time, as a fully electric vehicle.
The I.D. Buzz, a futuristic and uniquely designed version of their classic hippie van (the iconic Microbus), not only reignites the far-out look of the original but it also promises to leap forward in its performance capacity and innovations.
The I.D. Buzz features self-driving technology, all-wheel drive, seating for up to eight, and an impressive 270 miles of electric-powered range … not a bad lineup for anyone eager to take to the road with minimal environmental impact.
These cars will offer everything—and even more—than you have seen from other electric carmakers … And they will be much more affordable,
says Dr. Herbert Diess, Chairman of the Board of Management for the Volkswagen brand in California.

The concept vehicle, which was shown several months ago at the Detroit Auto Show, has already won several awards since it was first presented. Volkswagen plans to get the I.D. Buzz into US dealerships in 2022.
Will these turn into the greatest #vanlife vehicles of the future? Only time will tell.
